Activities in ULLs
02
ULL Mid-Term Workshop
2026 UNESCO World Heritage City
Bamberg Germany
The mid-term workshop provides a platform for reviewing progress, sharing interim findings, and strengthening collaboration between Working Groups and local stakeholders. These workshops support reflection on ongoing Urban Living Lab activities and help align research approaches with local needs and priorities.
They also contribute to refining methodologies and identifying emerging challenges and opportunities within each case study city.
01
Go2CHANGE Annual Training School
The annual Training School takes place in one of the Urban Living Lab heritage cities and provides an intensive learning environment for early-career researchers, heritage managers, and practitioners. Participants work together with local stakeholders to explore climate risk assessment, adaptation strategies, mitigation approaches, and community involvement methods in real contexts.
Training Schools combine lectures, site visits, collaborative workshops, and group work sessions that support interdisciplinary exchange and practical experimentation.
03
ULL White Paper Launch Event
The White Paper launch event presents the outcomes of Urban Living Lab activities and highlights key recommendations developed through collaboration between researchers and stakeholders. These events support dialogue with policymakers, heritage institutions, municipalities, and international organisations.
White Papers contribute to the dissemination of best practices and provide guidance for integrating cultural heritage into climate action frameworks at local and broader governance levels.
