Raimon Calabuig Moreno, PhD, is a Lecturer at the Department of Architectural Construction at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and a researcher at the University Institute of Materials Technology (IUTM). Raimon is a technical architect whose career bridges construction materials, sustainable urban strategies, and heritage-related building technologies. His academic profile is strongly connected to the fields of sustainability in architecture, the circular economy, and the development of methodologies for assessing environmental impact at the urban and building scales. He has developed extensive teaching experience at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), covering construction materials, sustainability in building, accessibility and energy efficiency in architectural heritage, non-destructive testing, and design-oriented materials courses in both undergraduate and master’s degrees. Raimon has participated in regional and European competitive R&D&I projects and has also undertaken research stays at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the University of Cambridge, further strengthening the international dimension of his work.
