Simona von Eyb is the Director of the World Heritage Office in Bamberg, where she oversees the management of the UNESCO World Heritage property in close collaboration with a broad network of public and private stakeholders. Prior to this role, she worked extensively in higher education in China and Germany and contributed to international projects in Australia, North Africa and Europe. Her professional background includes cooperation with the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and engagement with World Heritage Sites worldwide. She has also served as an external evaluator for the European Union’s Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency within the Culture programme.
