Other ULL Cities
In addition to the four selected Urban Living Lab heritage cities
-
Go2CHANGE welcomes collaboration with other heritage cities interested in contributing to the Action’s activities and knowledge exchange processes. These cities form part of a wider learning environment that supports dialogue, comparative perspectives, and the sharing of local experiences related to climate risk management for cultural heritage.
-
Through workshops, training schools, networking activities, and collaborative research initiatives, partner cities can engage with the Go2CHANGE community and contribute to the development of locally adaptable climate action approaches. These interactions strengthen the exchange of best practices and help expand the Action’s impact beyond the core case study cities.
-
The wider network of heritage cities reflects Go2CHANGE’s people-centred and place-based approach, supporting cooperation between researchers, site managers, municipalities, and local communities working towards climate-resilient heritage futures. Urban Living Labs function as co-creation environments where strategies for safeguarding cultural heritage under climate change can be explored collectively.

ULL activities
Urban Living Lab activities form the core collaborative environment of Go2CHANGE.
-
They bring together researchers, heritage professionals, municipalities, local stakeholders, and community representatives to co-develop locally adaptable climate action approaches for cultural heritage sites.
-
Through a sequence of workshops, training events, and dissemination activities, the Urban Living Labs support knowledge exchange, testing of methodologies, and the development of place-based strategies that respond to specific climate risks affecting heritage cities. These activities follow a learning-by-doing approach and contribute to building a shared framework for climate-resilient heritage futures.
-
Further information about the Urban Living Lab activities, including detailed programmes, participation opportunities, and outcomes, will be shared here as the activities progress. Please check this page regularly for updates.
