Prof. Chiara Bertolin, PhD is a Full Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Trained as a Physicist, her research implements data-driven approaches to study climate change impact, materials degradation on the built environment. Her expertise in cultural heritage includes indoor microclimate in museums, churches and archives, climate risk assessment, climate change mitigation solutions as Nature based solutions and near zero emission rehabilitation of historic buildings.
